27. Joshua Tree at Night. There is more I just didn’t have the time to process them all. It may look like I get out often but many of these were taken in the same day.

    First time visitor here Steve – I am glad to have found your work. Looks like you had an incredible year for 2009 creatively.

    Some of my favorites;

    Lupine Island – the backlight on those buds is just magical. Great comp.

    Spring Snow storm – I love the message of perseverance that is communicated with that tree.

    Millpond – I am not familiar with Galen’s version – but this is quite nice.

    Abstract – as a rock abstract fan myself – I love the portrayal of these “mountains.”

    Hey Kim, I don’t much about the name just that it originated in Germany and first showed up Iowa, that’s where my grandparents are from. Are you guys from Iowa too? If your parents know anything about the name I would love to hear it. There aren’t many of us Sierens on the West Coast.
